Diploma of Mental Health

The Diploma of Mental Health empowers graduates to offer specialized support to individuals affected by mental health issues, including designing intervention programs, crafting wellness plans and directives, and providing advocacy services. Additionally, you’ll acquire counseling skills and learn to assist individuals dealing with drug and alcohol concerns.

• Location: Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Hobart & Sydney.

• Intake & Duration: The Diploma of Mental Health has intakes in January, April, July, and October, with a course duration spanning 12 to 24 months.

• Outcome: Graduates of the Diploma of Mental Health can pursue careers as mental health workers, alcohol and other drugs workers, community workers, case workers/managers, and recovery support workers.

• Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications: Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent) or Adult Entry
  • English Language Proficiency:
    • IELTS: Overall score of 5.5 (no band score less than 5.0)
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum score of 46
    • PTE Academic: Overall score of 42 (minimum of 36 in each band)
